Lord Jesus
The Living Water
Who invites us to ‘Come and Drink’
I confess that I have spent too long seeking refreshing elsewhere.
I have heard the sound of so many invitations
I have seen so many adverts and offers of satisfaction
And have allowed these to drown out your call upon my life.
Lord, give me a deep thirst for the things of God
A thirst that can only be satisfied by you.
Come and put that spring of living water in my being
Welling up to eternal life
Satisfying my soul
And bringing glory to the Name of Jesus
