12 truths of the Apostles Creed
Left with us to face the days ahead
Days ahead which hold a mixture
A mixture of uncertainty and restrictions
With continued lockdown
But also of certainty and conviction
With the promises of God.
Lord God, as we lay aside the tinsel,
And switch off the fairy lights
May we find our lives lit with the Light of the Gospel
Grounded on the Rock of the Lord Jesus Christ
Filled with the fullness of the Holy Spirit
Ready for what lies ahead
Each day a gift from you.
And may the gifts we have opened over the past 12 days
Strengthen and equip and guide us
through the next 360 days of 2021.
