Church beautifully decorated and many, many fresh and ambient donations gifted.
Small parcels sent to members of the community and everything else handed over to Kirriemuir Foodhub.
Thank you folks!
Huge effort from the whole community to put together 107 shoe boxes which were delivered to Blairgowrie Blythswood for onward transportation to Eastern Europe, including Albania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Kosovo, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, and Ukraine.
Thank you everyone for donating items, boxes, money and time.
Saturday 18th May saw The Isla Parishes blessed by good weather and visitors from miles around who came to visit and enjoy our Flower Festival.
The scent and perfume in the church building was extraordinary as was the colour and variety of displays. An astounding array of plants for sale could be found in the church grounds and purchases could also be made from the well-filled craft table and the tasty produce stall.
Our thanks to the T-Junction Café volunteers who supplied teas, coffees and delicious cakes in Kilry Hall.
And of course to all who made the day so successful - visitors, plantspeople, bakers, crafters, designers, donators - everyone came together to make this a joyful day and to raise over £1000 for church funds. Thank you one and all!
