Almighty Heavenly Father
The God of
Joy and Happiness and Pleasure
How strange and sad
That we have lost sight
Of the smile on your face
Of the warmth of your embrace
And the sheer goodness of your being.
Forgive me Lord
For allowing the struggles
The doom and the gloom
The negative words and unkind thoughts
To reflect on how I see and think and talk to you.
Father
Give us all a fresh vision of your love
Your plans and purposes for us
Your desire for our
Joy and Happiness and Pleasure.
Let us know again the Joy of the Lord
And help us to share it with others
