Eternal God
God of the past, the present and the future
The same
Yesterday, today and forever
Thank you for this day.
This day when I can walk with you
I can know your presence
Read your word
Call out in prayer
Sing out in worship
Knowing that you are ever present
That you understand the frustrations
Trusting that you hear my prayers
That you are ever attentive to the cries of your people
Believing that you welcome my worship
That the songs of my soul reach the very heart of God
Father, we sing out
“This is the day, the Lord has made
We will rejoice and be glad in it!”
