Heavenly Father
In these days when we are denied
The excitement of physical journeys,
Missing out on the joys of
Planning and packing and preparation
Stuck at home
Frustrated by restrictions and lockdown,
Thank you that we can travel with you
Towards new and inspiring spiritual destinations.
As we set out into Lent
Each of us choosing our own path
Our own routine
Help each one of us
To travel well
Alert to the wonder of the spiritual landscape
Open to seeing and learning
And experiencing new aspects of our life with you.
Whether we travel alone
Or in a group
Be with us Lord
Lead us forward
Help me to follow well
And to grow as pilgrim
Along the path you have prepared.
