Clarion Call Day 326
Lord,
Some days I don’t know what to pray
I struggle to put into words
The groanings deep down in my being.
I want to express a desire
That when people look at me
They would see something of Jesus
Something of his love and majesty and salvation
But that sounds pretentious
And self-centred
I want to admit
That what people usually see
Is my brokenness and sin
Which turn people away from the Lord
Rather than towards him.
So, I am going to cry out to you for help.
Help me Father to spend time with Jesus
To invest my resources in getting closer to my Lord
To soak myself in His presence
And to pray that you will work a miracle in my life
And make me more like Jesus
Day by day.
