Lord Jesus
Who taught with clarity and authority
Which astonished all who heard
Whose teaching echoes down the centuries
And speaks to us from the pages of Scripture,
Teach us afresh today Lord.
In the confusion of pandemic
With so many experts and so much knowledge
We long to hear Your Word
To sense the Wisdom of the Lord
Make us hungry to learn, Lord
With a desire to grow in the knowledge of your ways
To understand more deeply
And follow more closely
That together we might
Teach and encourage and grow to maturity
For the glory of your name.
