Thank you, Lord
Thank you for colours and shades and tints
For mellow gentle pastels that calm
And startling brightness that catches our attention
The endless variation of pigmentation
The wonder of mixing and blending
Of primary into secondary
And on into every conceivable variation.
For the artist’s pallet of nature
In the sky and in the plants
On animals and birds
In our lives and in our worship
All revealing the wonder of our Lord.
Holy, all-colourful God
We are richly blessed
Thank you for creating and sharing the gift of colour
In Jesus name.
