Who set the stars in the heavens
And breathed your spirit into Adam
Thank you for the gift of music.
You made us with rhythm and melody
With voices and hearing
With craftsmen to make instruments
And musicians to play them
From the simplest of tunes
To the majesty of concertos
Your character and being are filtered
Into our very souls bringing healing and wholeness
Lord, fill me with music today
Music that lifts my spirits
And draws me closer to you
Music which helps me to worship
The God of Music
The Redeemer of my soul.
