Heavenly Father
Again and again I struggle
I depend on my own strength
I worry and strive on my own
And I am filled with conflict and tension and fear.
Until I come to my senses
And turn to your love and grace and mercy
And seek your face
And trust in you.
Father
In the midst of life
In the storms of living
I come to you today
Asking for the peace and the calm
That only you can give me.
Come Father
Come Lord Jesus
Come Holy Spirit
Fill me afresh.
