O Lord my God! When I in awesome wonder
consider all the works thy hand hath made,

thy power throughout the universe displayed;

and hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees;
when I look down from lofty mountain grandeur
and hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze:
Lord God, who has made all of this,

Of this wonderful world made by you
Fills my heart with joy
Lifts up my spirits
Gives meaning to a confusing world
Brings peace and balance deep into my life
And draws me close into your presence.
