How astonishing Heavenly Father
That you welcome us into your closer presence
Drawing us close to your holiness and love.
How astonishing Almighty God
That we would choose not to seek you
Not to respond to the hunger you put within us.
Make me thirsty for you Lord
Longing to know the richness of your presence
Willing to ‘push in’
Willing to turn off the world
To spend time with the Creator
Lord, I choose today,
To be a God Seeker
To use these days to find your presence
To lay hold of your promise that you are close at hand
Waiting on me to seek you with all my heart.
