Heavenly Father
The Giver of all good gifts
Thank you that you generously give
Giving us what we need for the tasks
You have called upon us to achieve.
You have called us to follow Jesus
To be engaged in the work of the Kingdom
To serve your purposes to our generation.
To play our part in bringing the love of the Gospel
To all, in every land and in every nation.
Save us from the pride of assuming we can
Do all of this in our own strength
In our own ability, with our own good ideas.
Pour out your Spirit, Lord
Empower your people
To fulfil our calling
To complete the task
To finish the race
To be all that you have called us to be.
