Almighty God
The Ancient of Days
When we read again
Your promises to Abraham
We read words that are as true today
As they were on the day they were first spoken.
As we sit in these days
Between Christmas celebrations
And the start of a New Year
We are reminded of the foundations of our faith story
The foundations which cannot be shaken
The foundations which allow us to look forward with great confidence.
Five gold rings
Five great Biblical books
Five solid foundation stones
To be treasured, and read and built upon.
