Almighty and all-powerful Creator God
Who has revealed yourself to us as our ‘Father in Heaven’
I bow before you in wonder and awe
That I am allowed to call YOU ‘Father’.
How amazing
Totally undeserved
Hard to understand
But so very welcome!
Because of the Birth of Jesus
And all that it led to
On earth, at Calvary
And in the heavenly realms
I have become a child of God.
And as your child
You are my father.
And just as amazing
as the young Jesus calling Joseph ‘Dad’
I can call you ‘Dad’
Wow!
Wow!
