The Perfect Shepherd
I thank you for your wonderful loving care
And the amazing initiative of the Incarnation.
Immanuel, God with us,
Born as human baby,
Because you care and love
Because you are a God of action
Because your plan of salvation is perfect.
Lord as we travel through these days of Advent
Soften our hearts
That as we hear again the old, old story
We might be stirred in new ways
To open our lives to your presence
That your purposes for us all
Might be fulfilled.
Come, Lord Jesus.
