Almighty and Awesome Lord
Pure and Holy
Worthy of the highest worship
I bow before your Throne of Grace
And confess my half-hearted and flawed commitment.
Tainted by the things of the flesh
Distracted by the pleasures of the world
Tempted by short-term fulfilment
I have fallen short
Holiness
Sanctification
Consecration
Lord, I am scared by such words
But there is a stirring in my heart
A longing in my spirit
As I read the words of Scripture
Come, Holy Spirit.
Breathe on the embers deep down in my being
Let your life flow
That I might live to the full, your call upon my life.
In Jesus precious name.
