Almighty Heavenly Father
We rejoice in the reports of a possible vaccine
Of a light at the end of the tunnel
Of an end to this disturbing pandemic
We stand amazed at the skills and talents of the scientists.
And thank you for their astonishing abilities
And for the results of their labours.
Lord, we continue to call out to you
To seek your wisdom and understanding
So that we might walk in your paths
And follow your ways.
Show us how to live well, Lord
To live lives that are marked by love
That are in step with your will
That build your kingdom here on earth
And that bring glory to your name.
