Oh Lord,
Forgive me and save me
From constantly deciding how much is enough
Based on my own understanding
And not on your wonderful wisdom and extraordinary generosity.
Release me from the need to have more
More wealth
More security
More popularity
More possessions
Save me from deciding what is enough
Enough commitment
Enough of Your Spirit
Enough time spent with you
Enough of giving my time and money
Set me free to allow you to decide and to guide
How to love
How to live by faith
How to walk in the Spirit
How to serve you more fully
Lord, help me to know that you are in control
You have it all worked out and measured
Your Grace and Mercy will not run out
Your love is sufficient for my every need.
Help me to let you be God
And to let me live and serve with freedom and joy
