Almighty Creator God
The Only Wise God
The source of all life
The giver of knowledge and understanding
We stand amazed at the majesty of your wisdom
In total contrast
We see
The foolishness of humanity
Our failure to live at peace
Our inability to use for good the prosperity of creation
The ease with which we enter into argument and conflict
And the language of ‘fake news’
Father, forgive us
Lord, forgive me
Help me to seek to live by the Wisdom of God
Give me a hunger for your understanding
And a willingness to lay down my own opinion
In favour of the teaching of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
In Jesus precious name.
