Almighty God
Heavenly Father
Lord of my life
The world feels a very insecure place in these days.
Wherever and everywhere
The foundations of human confidence are trembling
Fire and Pandemic
Brexit in Europe
Lockdown at home
Elections in America
The poisoning of opposition
The breaking of international law
The use of violence and lies for selfish gain.
The loss of innocence and the disappearance of trust.
Lord, we cry out,
We call to you Creator God
With the prophet Isaiah, we call,
“Oh that you would rend the heavens and come down!”
Come, Lord
Come for this world for which our Saviour died
Come.
In His name we pray.
