Lord, we know the words so well
‘The sun will rise with healing in its wings’
You are that sun, Lord Jesus,
The very sunrise come to
‘Give light to those who sit in darkness
and in the shadow of death,
and to guide our feet into the way of peace!’
Lord Jesus, let the sun rise over our land in these days
Let the sun of righteousness rise over this broken world
This world for which you died upon the cross.
Let your glorious light shine
Bringing healing in its wings
And start in me today Lord
Heal my brokenness Lord Jesus
That I might live in you and for you
For your glory
