Heavenly Father
I thank you for the astonishing richness of human life
The talents, and the character
The memory and intelligence
The wonder of the human body
And the complexity of the human brain.
And at the core of every cell …
The Image of God.
Lord,
With wonder in my heart
I remember that having created this wonderful being
You then gave us Freedom of Choice.
To choose for you or to choose against you.
To go with you or to go against you.
Forgive me for making so many bad choices
For so often choosing my way, and not your way.
Today,
I choose you
I choose your way
I choose your will
In Jesus’ name
