Lord Jesus Christ
In these days of restriction and lockdown
I thank and praise you
That your presence is unrestricted.
The door is wide open
The welcome is warm
The Father is waiting
Waiting to embrace and enfold .
Father I confess that I have wandered
I have gone off on my own paths
Following the agenda of the world
Allowing my first love to grow dull.
Draw me back Lord
Fill me afresh with your Spirit
Breathe on the embers of my faith
Stir a renewed passion in my heart
Let me serve you well
This day … and every day.
